Kedah Trip

Hi people, sorry for not blogging for a few days, I was too lazy to blog :P Before we start, there's a warning for you.

Please be aware that this post contains lots of fail stuff.

YOU ARE WARNED!

1) When I reached my grandmother's house, my uncle nagged at me saying that I shouldn't wear short pants. He asked me why I like to wear short pants and said that I should have wore long pants because I'm staying in a hotel. FYI, I'm sitting bus for 6 (or more) hours to Kedah. I'm wearing shorts because it's more comfortable and it's very hot that day. Conclusion : I get scolding in the beginning of the day. FAIL.

2) In my grandmother's house, we met up with my other relatives. This part was the most embarrassing moment for me. You know why? Cause' I totally screwed up all my uncles' and aunties' names. I kept on calling the wrong names and I was like, ZOMG! wtf x1000000! FAIL me. :P

In the bus, it's camwhore (x10000000)...

After a few hours sitting in the bus without moving an inch (fyi my butt hurts), we went for lunch! My uncle said that it was the best chicken rice in Perak :/

This is Ipoh's speciality, Ipoh Hor Fun.

After that we went for some desert and we bought some biscuits.

3) When we went back to the bus, I spotted this saloon..

I wonder whether they printed it wrongly or maybe they are just cutting a small part of your hair for RM3 (it's cheaper than going to a barber!) In KL, you will never ever find a saloon that cuts and washes your hair for RM3. So I guess I'll consider it as FAIL.

After another few hours in the bus, finally we reached Kedah. After checking into our rooms, my aunties, cousins and my family went to a nearby shopping mall, looking for a saloon to wash and make a hair-do.

4) When we walked into the shopping mall, we were speechless. Why? Because that shopping mall only sells electronic stuffs, it really broke our hearts into pieces haha! FAIL.

5) After walking for a while, finally we found a saloon. Like finally! They put a sign board outside of the saloon saying wash and blow for RM8 (super duper cheap!) We were like so happy and we tried to open the door to go in, but the door was locked. So we knocked on the door and the worker inside the saloon to open the door. Well he tried a few keys, but he still couldn't open it. After like 5 minutes? He still couldn't open the door =.= All of us were laughing outside, we were saying, that guy couldn't even open a door how could we let him handle our hair? We also said that if we didn't knock the door, that guy won't even know that he was locked inside. After we told him that we don't want to wash our hair, instead of trying to get out from the saloon, he went back to his original seat and continue reading his magazine. FAIL x100000000000000000!

6) Then I went to buy a Honeydew Bubble Milk Tea (my favourite!) The drink was OKAY, but the jelly was so eww-ish. Unlike those in KL which are like 100 times nicer! FAIL.

Then we went back to our rooms. After bathing and making up, we went down to the cafeteria and gathered with my other relatives.

7) We were chatting and walking around until my younger cousin saw a paper with my cousin's wedding dinner's date and time printed on it. What's so special about it? Well someone in charge of this paper printed the wrong date. Instead of 16 December, they printed 16 November. FAIL.

8) During the dinner, I had to say that, the entertainments were very noisy :P Not noisy as to the music when you go clubbing, but some irritating and scary enough to blow off your ear drums music. They just won't stop singing, and the shirts they wore were funny haha! FAIL.

9) As the lady's side believed in some superstitious thingy, so we (the guy side relatives) had to leave before desert. sad. After that we went to the cafeteria and asked my uncle to buy us some desert :D I waited for my ice-cream for hours =.= I think my dad took it (fyi, he didn't order anything) FAIL.

The next day, we went to the cafeteria for breakfast, my uncles and aunties went to eat Bak Kut Teh :P Well I stayed in the room :)

After that we packed our stuff and went back home. On the way we stopped at a restaurant at Penang. This was our first dish.

My cousin found a hermit crab in one of the shells, and my other cousin ate it. O_O He said it was sweeter and juicier lol. Then we continued our journey and it was raining. We saw 2 accidents on the way back which caused major traffic jam. Well that's all for now haha! ciao!
